Just writing to pass on my high praise of the service and goods I ordered last month.
Recently bought a complete straight through exhaust for my e46 320d - can only remark on what a difference. Much faster response time from the turbo - more torque in the low range and much more once on the motorway. Not to mention the sound!
Brilliant yet simple piece of kit that has really freed up the engine - added 1 or 2 MPG, and has pushed the car up over 60MPG on the long haul journeys. (I think any other gain has been lost to my right foot!)
If anyone is having second thoughts about putting money into upgrades from Ecotune, I can confirm that feeling will be washed away once you get your hands onto your updated motor!

Hello, I recently bought the DPF OFF & iFlash Package and would like to thank you for the fantastic customer service I received.
I have a BMW 118D and the power difference from before and after is immense. It pulls in third and 4th like it used to in 2nd, over-taking is an absolute doddle on anything other than an autobahn.The power is as linear as always but it's obviously much stronger, it even gives out a deep grumble past 3,800rpm.
MPG has shot up, before I was covering about 46-48mpg on a 20 mile trip to work. Now I'm hitting about 55 and that's not light-footed either!
I can't praise it enough really and the communication has been absolutely brilliant, Stan has answered everything I've asked and always kept me informed of what needed to be done and how he would do it. I thoroughly recommend Ecotune to anyone thinking of getting a re-map, excellent quality product, excellent customer service and excellent results. I can confidently say the prices are justified because you get what you pay for, I will certainly be going back to you in future when I move onto something else. Best mod I've done to the car so far and I have no regrets doing this.

I just got home with the beamer after fitting the DpF off kit and iflash, I have got to tell you how impressed I already am.
I work for a large international dairy firm as a Driver Training Manager, I have a number of qualifications in driving and the whole ethos of my position is to get drivers to perform to a higher standard; most especially to improve their fuel economic driving. It goes without saying that this naturally carries over in to my own driving.
My 05 plate 525d will manage a erspectable 37.5mpg on a combined run, and in the past I have had a "** UK" plug n play box fitted which gave spritely performance and would return 39mpg. Now, fitted with your dpf off and i flash (I went straight for the maxi tune program first) I have driven home - all urban - and already returned 42.5mpg. Not only that but the mapping is excellent. A 5 series BMW is never a dog to drive but with the new software its a whole lot smoother, no strange flat spots and most importantly for a tuned engine; no rediculous suprises and sudden power boosts that catch you mid bend.
As someone who makes a living by managing gains in fuel efficient driving and proving what does and doesn't work I have no hesitation in recommending your products and services. Anyone who wants a genuine improvement in fuel economy should look no further.
Over my standard car i can see 5mpg more than before, and I havnt even been for a long run yet! Cant wait to try the eco tune map. Im happy to report back my MpGs if your interested as for work purposes I keep a weekly check.Regards

The performance has been a blast and the decision to have this done rather than splash out for a new car was definitely the right choice. Just writing to say thanks for the DPF off pipe and remaps for my BMW 3 series. Delivery was good and the components were beautifully made.
The fit was carried out by Carl and Jeremy at Burton Motor Workshop and as ever the service advice and feedback was excellent and to be recommended as at least BMW standard or higher in my experience.
As it's been -8 degrees the past few weeks driving has been limited but on the good days my impression was that the car performs much better than it ever did as standard with improved low down pick up and decent torque at low revs.The engine revs much more freely and the shove is at least equal or better than BMW 330 in back to back comparison.
Difficult to assess but fuel economy was slightly better despite enthusiastic driving at times so another plus point.
The only problem is the maxi tune which I haven't used as the car wheelspins now under acceleration in the first 3 gears but next summer should be a laugh.
So many thanks as this seems to be the most considered option for any DPF failure and leaves you with a better car to boot as well as costing far less than replacement by manufacturer.

I am writing to say a big thank you for all your help and advice on my BMW 525D M Sport.
Basically we had the choice of replacing the DPF filter at a cost of around £1500 plus fitting from BMW or go with your product the DPF removal downpipe plus a software upgrade for a much lower cost. Now after having your product fitted we definitely made the right choice!
We've had the car back a week now and it feels much more powerful, I've also noticed a slight improvement in MPG so a big bonus!
I would 100% recommend Ecotune to anyone, it's been an absolute pleasure dealing with you!

I am writing to offer my sincere thanks for all your help on my BMW 330D! After my DPF blocked I could not believe I was faced with a bill from BMW of around £1400 for replacement. I initially took it to them with this fault and they carried out a process they call filter regeneration at a cost of £180. I thought great it’s fixed, but about a week later the light was on the dash again, my mpg never improved and my car had lost its performance again.
It was not until I googled this fault that I learned that I was not alone and many others were joining me. Your details kept popping up and I am really glad we called you!
The kit you sent me was fitted at our local independent BMW specialist and the mechanic commented on the quality of your product and in his words, he said it was “a pleasure to install”.
The programmer you sent to complete the software upgrade was very easy to use and the built in diagnostic code reader meant I was able to identify my faulty ABS sensor which was replaced at the same time!
I have to say that an increase in performance was not really what I was looking for but I just cannot believe the performance from the car now! It’s outrageous with the Ecotune level! It just feels like it has had a newer bigger engine installed... We towed our caravan from Preston to Portsmouth last weekend using your Envirotune software and you could hardly feel the weight of the van under acceleration. We have made this journey many times and the fuel consumption was much better than it has ever been before!
We love our car and just had to write to say, keep up the good work! You saved us a fortune and gave us a car that was better than it was to begin with.

A big thanks to Stan and Cameron at Ecotune in Glasgow.
I've just got back from a two hour drive after having my car remapped and a full stainless decat exhaust fitted. All i can say is it's bl**dy fantastic, the car revs a lot quicker and doesn't die off nearly as much at higher revs allowing safer overtakes. The power comes in very smoothly and really takes off from 2k revs and really pushes you back in the seat, the exhaust has a deeper tone without any annoying drone at a steady speed. I can hear the turbo whistle a lot more now although after 2k revs this disappears, there is no black smoke at all under acceleration. The car is a lot freer reving and the engine braking is slightly less, nothing holding it back now i guess.
I'm well chuffed with the car now, if your thinking about doing this, don't! Just do it you won't be sorry.

Just some feedback on the Remap you did on my 3 series last week. Been driving the car for about a week with the upgrade and i'm very happy with the increased acceleration and the slight improvement in fuel consumption. Seems like a new motor and i'm having to stop myself from ragging it at times. Cheers for the service.
Very happy with the service provided by Ecotune, the car has gained a lot of torque, so much so that I'm on my second set of tyres! The power increases are great too, it comes in more smoothly & has a higher boost through the gears as the turbo kicks in. I will be recommending this to my friends & fellow Volvo enthusiasts!

Absolutely delighted with the result. After a few weeks of the car being 'ran-in' it’s running excellently. Even in 5th it feels like you’ve dropped a gear!! On the odd occasion I'm not tempted to put the boot down and hold the revs out, the fuel economy is great, but it's just too much fun now! Quick update on the front cat bypass pipe Ecotune fitted for me to replace the original flexi pipe which had broken after 165k miles. The car seems to breathe much better and makes a sexy turbo whistle if you take the revs high. In normal driving the whistle is not noticable.
I haven't had it beat the old mpg yet but it's hard not to welly the car as it's so much fun to drive now and diesel's dropped below £1/litre.
I can recommend Ecotune and their 320d decat downpipe, you will forget it's there until you put your foot down and then the pipe plus Maxitune remap equals big wide grin. It's been very wet up here and my ABS and DSC have been working overtime since. Thankyou Ecotune
Astra felt great on the way home, I would describe the car being on normal mode as feeling like the previous sport mode, and once the sport mode is on the only thing i can say is that it wants to take off. The handling is great with no adverse change, alongwith the brakes still being brilliant, acceleration is amazing and the overall performance of the car has dramatically improved, and the remap was well worth it. Overall I am very impressed with the new car i've got as that is how it feels.
Fitted one of Ecotune's front decat pipes today. WOW what a big difference it makes, not fully tested as yet, as just drove back from mates garage, (2 miles ) feels so much more responsive, i noticed as soon as i started the car it ran so much smoother. in the nxt few days i will be testing it fully on open roads to wrk and back... many thanx... this is a must have upgrade guys Very Happy.
Stan, I would first of all like to thank you for treating my car as if it were your own. You certainly know your stuff, not just answering my questions but also able to provide helpful advice about the whole of the car, including the egr bypass.The transformation of my car since the remap is amazing, I didn't expect petrol like performance from a diesel, but with more power. I now also have more low down torque, something the 320d was in need of. You were also right concerning the driving experience, the responsiveness of the car is a joy to drive and must confess that I have been unable to drive conservatively. That being said, although I haven't run the car brim to brim yet, the computer indicates a fuel tank range of 140miles remaining with 500miles done (majority commuting in rush hour) and an average of 46mpg. Life's too short to drive like a daisy and I'll be more than happy to get this economy with cracking acceleration.I would definitely recommend this modification especially by Stan and his team, a thorough, helpful bunch who provide a professional and caring service.
